“KURUSHIMI” means pain (or struggle).

This piece shows the struggle and pain of an creative mind when you cannot just get into that creative zone.

Solar system on the top right represents the universe. This creative mind is trying to get to the universe to become one with it in order to get into creative zone, where every thing just flows and come out as they should naturally.

This mind is stuck on this invincible wall in left bottom of painting. The eye on the top left of the painting represents the ‘vision’. Eye being only slightly opened shows this mind is still searching for what ever it is looking for and have no clear vision of it.

絵を描いている最中自分のマインドは何処かに飛んでいます。ユニバースと一体化している感覚がします。その時々のユニバースとの一体化が密接であればあるほどに”無の境地”には入り自分本来の素直な作品が出来上がる感じがします。しかし現代のまやかしや誘惑にとらわれ、このプロセスは必ずしも常に瞬間的に出来る物ではありません。その状態を表現したのがこの作品です。右上に位置するのが遠くにあるユニバースの中心、左下はそこへ到達しようしているが見えないネットに引っかかってしまいもがく自分のマインド。左上は未だハッキリとビジョンが見えていないうっすらとしか開いていない目。続編の作品ではマインドがユニバースと一体化したものを表現してみようと考えておりますでありけり。その場合、暗い絵ではなく明るい色彩になると思いまする。
